DIE SUPERMAN SPIELFILM COLLECTION – BLU-RAY DISC RELEASE

Erst kürzlich hatte Warner in den USA die “Superman Motion Picture Anthology” auf Blu-ray Disc angekündigt. Das Box-Set besteht aus insgesamt 8 Discs und beinhaltet alle fünf Superman Spielfilme. Kurz nach der Bekanntgabe des Release Termins am 7. Juni in den USA tauchte “Die Superman Spielfilm Collection” auch bei Amazon Deutschland auf. Dort ist sie mittlerweile für knapp 60 Euro vorbestellbar und soll voraussichtlich ab dem 29. Juli auf Blu-ray Disc in den Handel kommen.

Das gezeigte Cover entspricht dem UK bzw. US Blu-ray Disc Release, da bislang noch kein endgültiges Blu-ray Disc Cover für “Die Superman Spielfilm Collection” vorliegt. Das Box-Set scheint sich auch jetzt schon kurz nach der Aufnahme bei Amazon großer Beliebtheit zu erfreuen und ist im Moment auf Platz 61 der Verkaufscharts angelangt. Gibt es in Deutschland noch kein offizielles Statement von Warner, so sind in den USA mittlerweile auch schon weitere Details zum Release bekannt geworden.

Wie bereits am Anfang erwähnt handelt es sich bei der “Die Superman Spielfilm Collection” um ein 8 Disc Box-Set, dass alle fünf Superman Spielfilme erstmal zusammen auf Blu-ray Disc beinhalten wird. Hier die kurze Auflistung der Filme und in welcher Version diese in dem Blu-ray Box-Set vorhanden sein werden:

  • Superman: The Movie (Original Theatrical Version & Expanded Version)
  • Superman II (Original Theatrical & Richard Donner Cut)

Da es bislang in Deutschland lediglich “Superman der Film” und “Superman Returns” auf Blu-ray Disc gab, gibt es also mit der “Die Superman Spielfilm Collection” ein paar Premieren auf Blu-ray Disc.
